News from Campus

As the warmth of summer settles in and we find ourselves embracing the longer days, it is my pleasure to share with you highlights and stories from our school year. 

Enlace’s theme for the 2023-24 year was Onward, to honor the strong roots and values that have developed over the past ten years, while looking ahead to all of the achievements and growth that will be realized over the next decade. Throughout the school year, our staff, families, and community demonstrated their deep commitment to Enlace’s values, while paving a path for the future.  

Enlace realized its core belief of All Children Can and Will Learn by increasing overall math ILearn proficiency to the highest levels since the pandemic, more than doubling 3rd grade ELA ILearn proficiency, and having over 80% of kindergarteners meet their goals in NWEA math and foundational literacy. Additionally, while WIDA proficiency across the country continues to decline, Enlace Academy demonstrated significant growth in language acquisition, particularly in reading and writing.   

Enlace demonstrated its core value of Lead with Love by investing deeply in the needs of our students and families. Enlace Academy expanded its culture team to include three social workers and a City Connects Coordinator, served more than 216 families through our bi-weekly community food pantry, and offered language classes on evenings and weekends to 75 Enlace families. 

Finally, Enlace lived out its vision of developing our students to become leaders who choose their own futures in high school, college, and beyond by ensuring 100% of our 8th graders had access to their high school of choice, including 20% of students who chose to attend private high schools. 

As we look ahead to the next school year, Enlace Academy is blessed with teachers, staff, and an ever-increasing number of partners who care deeply for our students, families, and community. We are excited for what the future holds and are grateful to have you as a part of our journey.
